Our Micro-moulding manufacturing cell is designed specifically for producing the smallest components, typically with component weights below 0.25 gms and down into single figures of milligrams. Sovrin's research and experience in micro-engineering led us to define a bespoke micro-mouldings manufacturing cell, with injection moulding, robotic handling, product documentation, quality assurance and aligned packaging, all in cleanroom (E100) conditions. Production of MicroMouldings - Very small plastic mouldings

Cleanroom Module
The entire process is carried out under class 100 cleanroom conditions and sited within a class 10'000 cell
|

Quality Module
Each Micromoulding is optically analysed using a non contact vision system to measure critical dimensions& pixel variation. This ensures that every component supplied conforms to the required specification.

Injection Module
The limitations of conventional screw technology are surpassed with a novel injection system. This module is designed to consistently, accurately and rapidly manufacture moulded parts

Demoulding and Handling
Each micromoulding is accurately held separately and put down in a chosen orientation. This allows specific cavity identification and full traceability.

Deposit Module
Blister-packs or carrier plates can be specified to protect the parts from contamination, transport damage and allow automatic presentation |
Packaging Module
Micromouldings can be orientated and packaged by the robot into blister packs, carrier plates or bespoke customer packaging |
